Jean Black and Danforth France met taking Groundlings classes in Hollywood, CA. They were honored to advance into the much-ballyhooed Groundlings’ Sunday Company where, six months later, they were both honored to be cut from the Groundlings’ Sunday Company.

Having earned a reputation for writing weird and offensive sketches together, they struck out on their own to perform their own weird and offensive show Munth Days at The Fake Gallery and performed in Los Angeles’ premier comedy show, Comedy Death-Ray at the UCB.

After doing standup, sketch and character comedy separately around town, Jean and Danforth eventually gravitated back together to create The Jean and Danforth Show in December of 2009.
